Choose a question
Start with a specific decision: which channel brings bookings, which offer converts, or when attendees tend to buy.
Label campaign links
Use consistent source, medium and campaign parameters for emails, partners and paid promotion. Avoid including email addresses or other personal information in URLs.
Compare the journey
Review referrals, website activity, conversions and orders together. A busy channel does not necessarily produce the most bookings.
Recognise the limits
Browser privacy controls, blocked tracking and cross-device activity can reduce attribution. Treat reports as useful evidence rather than a complete record of every interaction.
Make one change
Use the result to improve a campaign or event page. Compare the next event using the same definitions.
